Toolkits | | Exis supplies DG data packages and a library of routines for incorporation into cargo booking, handling and planning systems. These are ideal for providing dangerous goods validation functionality in "building blocks" for integration into an existing system or product. Currently supplied with the following functionality: |
  | Customised databases: UN numbers, names, classes, subrisks, flashpoints, etc. from the Dangerous Goods List. Available in Microsoft Access, CSV files or fixed format. Additional fields and formats on request. Click here to view sample data. |
  | Segregation/ stowage routines: Calculate the segregation requirements between containers/vehicles containing incompatible DG or segregation within the units themselves. These routines also identify if shipments are permitted on or under deck on cargo, passenger ships, in tanks, limited and excepted quantities etc. |
  | Packaging routines: Check that commodities are shipped in compliant packages and do not exceed maximum permitted weight or capacity. |
  | Restriction routines (coming in 2010): Check for specific DG restrictions and prohibitions on a operator, vessel, port basis. | | All data and routines are supplied under licence that includes maintenance in line with the current Amendment of the IMDG Code, and can be used to provide dual amendment functionality in a transition year. The routines are available in a number of programming languages. Click here for further information or demos. |
